Hi Friends and followers!

I've made the change over to Instagram to share photos of my cookie projects.

Life has gotten far too full to sit down and write a post for each picture but a quick share on Instagram I can do.

So if you'd like to see more of my creations head over to Cherry Blossom Crafting's Instagram account here: https://www.instagram.com/cherry_blossom_crafting/

Many thanks for all the love and support.

New Beginning and a Golden Anniversary

Times they are a changin' for us. In December we bought our first home!! Just a few days before Christmas we moved in (I know crazy right) but we could not be happier with our new home. We have lots of work to do. I'll post some before and afters as we get things decorated and organized.

Last week I got to do two orders. One for an engagement party and one for a fiftieth anniversary celebration. The correlation could not be more beautiful. As I sat decorating these cute engagement cookies, I couldn't help thinking about my own wedding just 5 years ago. The last five years have gone by so fast! Before we know it we'll be celebrating fifty years and all we'll have done together. Just the thought made me smile.

Congratulations to these two couples!

Ciao!

Cheers

One of my friends and coworkers, Stacey, ordered a batch of cookies last month. Both her kids go to a local private school. Her daughter is on the cheer leading squad and they were having their end of the season banquet. She wanted to treat the girls with something special. And what's more special and delicious than cookies! I sent her some ideas and she decided to do cheer uniforms.

In my flurry of work I only got one picture, sorry. But its a good one!

I added each girl's name to the bottom of the skirt for a very personal touch. The girl's loved them!

Birthday Cookies

My grandmother is so beautiful. Not only on the outside but on the inside as well. She is patient and kind, some of my best memories in life are with her.

Old picture and a little blurry but you can see how lovely she is!

This month she turned 82! So over Labor Day weekend the whole family went to see her and celebrate. I was trying to come up with a gift to bring her but she's pretty difficult to shop for. So instead I decided to make her a batch of cookies for her party.

My grandmother loves to be outside, her yard always has beautiful plants and flowers. I wish I had inherited her green thumb! So I decided a flower theme would be perfect for these cookies.

I'm so thankful for my grandmother and I hope to spend many more Birthdays with her!

Harper Grace is One!

Crazy to think that a year goes by so fast. My beautiful niece just celebrated her first birthday last weekend. She is truly a blessing in my life. She's silly, smart and unstoppable! Which makes her so fun to hang out with.

My sister-in-law planned a lovely party for her. The theme was shabby chic. All her little friends were there as well as family. I did a batch of cookies for favors and was the designated birthday photographer. Here are the cute cookies and some of my favorite pictures from the party.

Her beautiful and yummy rosette cake and mini smash cake came for Sugar Kneads in Loganville, GA
You can find them {Here}

Her adorable friend Julia, what a sweetheart she is!

Deidra, Class of 2014

My sister-in-law is a Senior! Life just keeps zooming right along doesn't it? She asked me a few weeks ago to take her Senior pictures for her. I was honored that she trusted me to do those for her and excited to get some creative, fun shots.

We started out in downtown Canton, GA where they have some great old building, trees and parks. Then we went to a small lake. We wanted to do some creative stuff with sidewalk chalk so we went home to do those. Finally, we ventured out to the waterfalls near her home to splash around and have some fun.

And here are some of my favorites.

Congratulations Dee! I love you to pieces and I'm so proud of you.

Ciao!

Nurse Scrub Cookies

Wow, can I just say that this has been the craziest summer of my life. Never has there been so much going on and so little time to do it. But before all of the intensity of the summer, I got the chance to celebrate my sister-in-law's graduation from Emory University School of Nursing. Alisha is absolutely brilliant and graduated with honors. The are so proud of her!

Her last semester, she did rotations and wanted to thank all the nurses on her floor for their mentorship. So she ordered a batch of cookies :)

Her fellow classmates loved them so much they ordered some as well, for their nurse mentors and for graduation parties.

What a great way to express love and appreciation for people who work so hard to care for others day in and day out. We love our nurses!

Ciao!
